In early 1980s Las Vegas—where sequins glitter over sin and the desert swallows secrets Moni is a headline showgirl by night and an invisible woman by day. Onstage she’s a fantasy sold to tourists and locals; offstage she navigates a city that treats women as disposable, especially those passing through on eighteen wheels. When a brutal encounter shatters her carefully controlled life, Moni discovers that the rage she’s buried for years has teeth.

As the highways funnel predators into the Las Vegas valley, truckers who hurt women begin turning up dead. The locals whisper about a phantom stalking rest stops and back roads, leaving behind only rumors and fear. Moni becomes something new in the dark—a hunter shaped by trauma, showmanship, and the harsh reality of survival.
